By accessing or using the NgachElectric website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services in Washington DC and surrounding areas.
2. Services Description
Electrical Services
NgachElectric provides professional residential and commercial electrical services including installation, repair, maintenance, panel upgrades, lighting systems, and smart home integration in Washington DC.
Service Agreements
All electrical work is performed by licensed and insured electricians. Specific scope of work, pricing, and timelines are agreed upon in writing before any work commences. We reserve the right to decline any service request that we determine poses an unreasonable safety risk.
Emergency Services
Emergency electrical services are available 24/7. Emergency rates apply outside of standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8AM–6PM). We will inform you of applicable rates before proceeding with emergency work.
3. Pricing & Payment
Estimates & Quotes
Free estimates are provided for standard electrical projects. On-site assessments may be required before a final quote is given. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. For large projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Late Payments
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. NgachElectric reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.
4. Warranties & Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty
NgachElectric warrants all labor and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in installation or workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or third-party modifications.
Parts & Materials
Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and materials installed. NgachElectric will assist in processing warranty claims for defective materials, but is not liable for failures caused by manufacturer defects beyond the manufacturer's warranty terms.
Exclusions
Warranties do not apply to pre-existing conditions, damage caused by power surges not covered by surge protection we installed, pest damage, flooding, or unauthorized modifications to our work.
5. Limitation of Liability
NgachElectric shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from the use of our services.
Maximum Liability
In no event shall NgachElectric's total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
Force Majeure
NgachElectric shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, utility outages, or material shortages.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Site Access
You agree to provide NgachElectric technicians with safe, unobstructed access to the work area. You are responsible for removing or securing valuables, pets, or obstacles before our arrival.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your electrical system, property, and any known hazards. Failure to disclose known issues may void warranties and result in additional charges.
Permits
Where required by Washington DC law, NgachElectric will obtain the necessary electrical permits. Associated permit fees will be included in your quote. You are responsible for any required inspections beyond our standard scope.
7. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in Washington DC in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
8. Changes to Terms
NgachElectric reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
